Product Description
To be quite honest, if I were in the market for a new still, this is the one I would buy! it's versatile, easy to set up, and produces a great product. No propane to keep track of, and no open flames around my 97% ABV (Can you say boom?) Now that it is coupled with a dual purpose tower, there really isn't anything else you will need!

Everything is perfect. Just got it and put together. Welds and quality are perfect. Will write back with results after a few runs; but I have faith this is the best still I have had the pleasure to lay my eyes on.

I took delivery of mine in late November. Since then I've run off about 45 gallons of mash through it. You get high proof from this rig. I'm peaking as high as 98%.
Construction quality is superb. The welds are so precise you'd swear they were laser welds by a robot. Insane weld quality.
My only negative comment is it seems as though the heating element could stand to be 2000w instead of 1500w. I have to run mine at full bore the entire time. Lately I've been supplementing with propane or a hot plate.

The finish is a work of art, and deserves to be on display When not being used of course. I've used it twice so far, but needed to wrap it in insulation the second time as the cold weather made it difficult to keep the temp up. I was able to get 94.5% on my second run. I will be using this weekly from now on.

Took about a month from order to at my door. The construction is solid! Seamless, clean welds. The element is sufficient. Took about an hour for the first few drips to start. Using the copper packing along with the ceramic rings in the tower, I got 95% - 190 proof on my first try! Very glad I settled on MileHi for my still purchase!

Can't get over the workmanship

The welds on the column are amazing. This is my second unit (1st was a Still Spirits). There is absolutely no comparison when it comes to the quality of the unit. In reflux mode, once you get the water flow regulated (only a couple of minutes), it runs without any tweaking. I routinely get 95% runs with my sugar wash using the Mile-Hi dual purpose turbo yeast.

This is a great unit, my first. Been running as pot still, mostly fruit wash with great results. Getting tasty 70-75%, haver not tried stronger reflux yet.

Ive ran a few runs through this still and get 92% pretty easy. There are a few mods that I did like running the out take and reflux jackets seperatly to get it to this Percentage. The heating element does no cycling so you get a constant supply of power and no pauses in production. For a small production still this works great!
