At Mile Hi Distilling, we store all the turbo yeast and enzymes in a climate controlled facility to ensure freshness. Also, we get a new shipment of turbo yeast in every 4 months from the manufacturer, always keeping the turbo yeast fresh. Other companies get a shipment once a year the turbo yeast can lose activity after long period of storage.

We are proud to introduce "Mile Hi Distilling™ Turbo Yeast", the most advanced turbo yeast available to the distilling industry. Mile Hi Distilling is believed to be the first distilling equipment supplier to carry its own brand of turbo yeast. It includes easy-to-understand instructions in gallons and liters.  

All of Mile Hi Distilling's Turbo Yeast is designed in a lab by a doctor with a phD in fermentology. Some other companies just mix SuperStart and DAP and call it "Turbo Yeast". Don't be fooled.

Turbo Pure X-Press represents a new generation of professional turbo yeast developed in late 2006. Produces a cleaner wash than its predecessors in the same alcohol-by-volume category. Makes up to 18% alcohol by volume. Great for both pot still and refulx still uses.

Instructions: To Make 25L (6.5 US Gallons)
Pour 21L (5.5 US Gallons) of warm water (40®C/104°F) into your fermenter. Add 8kg (18 pouds) of sugar to produce 18% alcohol by volume. Mix well until sugar is completely dissolved. Add the Turbo Yeast package contents and stir for one minute. Leave to ferment between 21-30°C (70-85°F); optimum is 25°C (77°F), until fermentation ceases (4-6 days). Complete fermentation times are temperature dependent. For best results, clear with Super-Kleer K.C 2-stage clearing agent before distilling.

DIRECTIONS to make 1.1 U.S. Gallon (4.2L)
Pour 1 USG (3.8L) of warm water -104°F (40°C) into a 1.3 USG (5L) pail or table fermenter. Add 3 lbs (1.35Kg) of table sugar to produce 20% ABV. Mix well until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add the yeast package contents and stir for one minute. Top up the fermenter with cool water to 1.1 USG (4.2L). Leave to ferment between 70-81°F (21-27°C); optimum temperature is 75°F (24°C) until fermentation ceases (approximately 6 days). DO NOT cover the fermenter airtight. Complete fermentation times are temperature dependent. For best results clear with Super-Kleer K.C.™ before distilling or flavoring. Flavor with LIQUOR QUIK™ premier liquor and liqueur essences.

Sprinkle the yeast package contents on the surface of the grain mash, wait 15 minutes and then mix into the mash. Leave to ferment between 21-30°C (70-85°F); optimum is 25°C (77°F), until fermentation ceases (3-5 days). Complete fermentation times are temperature dependent. For best results, clear with Super-Kleer K.C 2-stage clearing agent before distilling.
