Moonshine stills and Alcohol still by Mile Hi Distilling

I'm running it as I write this review. The still is heavy duty and built to last. Assembly was easy and cleaning is a breeze. I'm getting 195 proof every run using well water for cooling at 40-50 psi and water hose fully open once I hit operating temp. I run it trickling open until after I remove the methanol. It does drop the temp back down a little 172-174 down to around 165-168 but this method works great for me. I also recommend getting extra copper mesh. I used 2.5 lbs of copper mesh for my packing and topped it of with raching rings. The rings are at the top of both sections of the tower. for ease of draining I bought a 1.5 inch collapsible drainage hose from home depot. it is bigger than needed but works great with a hose clamp. Much easier to run than my pot still with thumper and worm.

Great company to do business with. If you Email them a question, they'll get right back to you. Still is very well built. The only thing is that they didn't send any directions with it.I emailed them and they said watch the video's on line but they don't tell you much. That's why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. Still not sure how to put it together.

instructions are a little all over the place but read them all before you start and you'll have no trouble. Now the good part, this thing works so much better then I had planned on. It almost sets the temp for you! 180 runs are no problem at all and if you watch it a bit closer 185 is possable. I love this thing!and the quality is perfect, very good job guys.

depending on "your recipe" i can run a antique recipe at a respectable 165-170 on corn. cut to 100 every ol'timer who tries it loves it. the flow with the turpedo tower is "just what the doctor ordered........

new still is easy to run and works great no experience at all and first run was 175 proof second was 181 third was 180 very simple to use nice quality it just arrived with a few small dings kind of a bummer oh well always got fast response on emails except for the one where i complained about it having dings and the way it was boxed i still have not heard anything back on that one
