1 gallon charred oak barrel. Perfect for small runs and quick aging! We have a number of customers who might buy 3-5 of these barrels to age 3-5 different recipes. Because of thier size, you can put them just about anywhere!!!
*** Please note the 1 gallon barrel does not come with a spigot. It must be purchased seperately. ***

I was very happy with the quality of the barrel. It is difficult to tell the quality of the cooperage without having seen the product hold water. I will buy this one again.

Barrel are GREAT a lot better then the first one I got from a different place. I order the spigot and ask for you to drill the whole as I don't have a 5/8 Wood bit.

I bought a 1.3 gallon Oak barrel from Mile High and filled it with a whiskey made from 4-way sweet feed.
Its been in the barrel for about a year and a half and has taken on a wonderful dark amber color, rich vanilla smell and mellow flavor that can't be beat.
I call it Horse Bourbon.

My son in law drinks whiskey so as a joke I thought I would make him some never dreaming it would be any good. I even told him it would probably be the worst he ever tasted. At Thanksgiving we decided to open it and see what it tasted like. It was not only good but it was the very best I had ever tasted. Very, very smooth with a wonderful after taste and making you feel very warm. Nothing like it after staying in the barrel 3 months.
