    I bought a 1.3 gallon Oak barrel from Mile High and filled it with a whiskey made from 4-way sweet feed.

    Its been in the barrel for about a year and a half and has taken on a wonderful dark amber color, rich vanilla smell and mellow flavor that can't be beat.

    I call it Horse Bourbon.

    Great made barrel. I left it in there for 4 months,great taste very smooth as good or better than your top shelf brands

    My son in law drinks whiskey so as a joke I thought I would make him some never dreaming it would be any good. I even told him it would probably be the worst he ever tasted. At Thanksgiving we decided to open it and see what it tasted like. It was not only good but it was the very best I had ever tasted. Very, very smooth with a wonderful after taste and making you feel very warm. Nothing like it after staying in the barrel 3 months.
